MADE IN HARMONY WITH
THE EARTH
Born between agave and the ocean.

Costa Costa is a raicilla that has its roots on the coast of Jalisco, where the sand, the sea, and ancestral history merge with the agave craft. Made from the Angustifoila Haw agave, this drink reflects the nobility of artisanal work and the rugged nature of the land where it was born.
Raicilla has its origins in the traditions of communities that inhabit the mountains and coasts of Nayarit and Jalisco. Its preparation is a ceremony that begins with the selection of piñas at their exact point of ripeness, followed by a careful Jima process, cleaning, and baking in sealed ovens that reach temperatures of up to 130 degrees. After baking, the agave is cooled, cleaned again, ground, fermented for up to eight days, and finally distilled. The result is an amber-hued drink with a smooth, sweet, and deep flavor, ideal for enjoying cold.
Every drop of Costa Costa preserves the memory of the agave and the power of the landscape. What's handmade feels different. It's valued differently and consumed differently.
Older than tequila,
although less well-known,
raicilla has been produced in
Jalisco and Nayarit.
Raicilla originated as a way to circumvent the Spanish colonial ban on mezcal. Today, it's a symbol of artisanal identity and regional pride. GO BACK
